Dream lakeside home features Pura^® NFC by Trespa siding

Situated south of Orlando, Florida in the desirable Lake Sheen community, Greg Hardwick and his team at Hardwick General Contracting were tasked with building a custom home for a client and his family. The goal was to create a true oasis for the client – a dream home, a forever home. Beyond creating a beautiful space, the intent was also to develop a quality, lasting home. Positioned on the lake in a hurricane zone, it was extremely important to find a façade solution that would be durable as well as UV resistant. The team had not worked with Trespa ^® materials before but soon realized it could meet both the design goals and performance needs for the property.

Pura ^® NFC by Trespa siding in Aged Ash was selected for both the façade and soffits. Greg shared that the woodgrain color was perfect for the project. “The homeowners loved the warm, natural tone of the siding. The Pura^® NFC product helps bring continuity to the design of the structure, from the soffits to accent walls and even the front driveway gate.”

Greg went on to share that the installation was straightforward for both the horizontal and vertical applications of the product. “The joints, corners, and edges of the Trespa ^® system are secure and neat, and the finished product looks great.” An unexpected bonus is the sunlight reflected off the pool and onto the Pura^® NFC siding used on the lanai ceiling.
